1. Description of Service
NorthOS is a financial management and bookkeeping tool designed for Canadian small businesses. It is a preparation and organizational tool only — NorthOS is not a licensed accounting firm, tax advisor, or financial institution.
2. Not Professional Tax or Financial Advice
IMPORTANT NOTICE
All calculations provided by NorthOS, including T2125 working papers, GST/HST estimates, and tax reserves, are for informational and planning purposes only.
You should consult a qualified accountant or tax professional before filing any returns with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Apex North Enterprise is not responsible for CRA penalties, interest charges, or audit outcomes resulting from reliance on NorthOS calculations.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and operating (or planning to operate) a legitimate Canadian business to use NorthOS.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and ensuring the accuracy of your business type and province settings, as these affect tax calculations.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use NorthOS to:
- Enter fraudulent or fictitious transactions
- Access accounts belonging to other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
- Scrape or harvest data from the service
- Interfere with or disrupt service security
6. Pricing & Plans
NorthOS offers:
- Lifetime Deal $79 (one-time payment for permanent access)
- Monthly and Annual subscription plans with 14-day free trials
Features may change without notice. Pricing is subject to change with advance notice to users.
7. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into NorthOS. We recommend exporting your data regularly using the CSV export feature and maintaining your own backups.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
NorthOS is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of tax calculations, or uninterrupted availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex North Enterprise shall not be liable for:
- CRA penalties, interest, or audit assessments
- Errors in tax filing based on NorthOS calculations
- Data loss or service interruptions
- Business decisions made based on NorthOS information
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of NorthOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
